Professor Eric Chung is recognized as the leading Australian and international expert in the field of male sexual, urinary, and reproduction surgery. He is the first urologist in Australia to complete an Andrology fellowship accredited by the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA) and the only urologist from Australia invited to serve at the 5th International Consultation on Sexual Medicine (ICSM) and the 7th International Consultation on Incontinence (ICI), both peak authority bodies on all matter related to sexual medicine (by the International Society of Sexual Medicine) and urinary incontinence (by the International Continence Society). In addition, Prof. Chung has also completed formal fellowship training in Urinary Reconstructive and Prosthesis surgery and has undertaken preceptorship training across several centers of excellence around North America and Europe. He has the highest number of publications in Australia in the penile and urinary reconstructive and prosthetic surgery field and is the leading author of several international guidelines on these conditions. Prof. Chung has been appointed to numerous executive positions in various international and national organizations, invited to teach at many surgical workshops, and mentored many surgeons worldwide. 

Prof. Chung performs specialized surgical procedures in men and women such as renal stone surgery, urinary reconstructive (urethral reconstruction, urinary slings, and artificial sphincter) and penile prosthesis surgery, microscopic vasectomy reversal, varicocele and spermatic cord denervation surgery, microscopic sperm retrieval, minimally invasive prostate surgery (laser, Urolift PUL, or Rezum), bladder botox and sacral neuromodulation, as well as cancer (penile, prostate and bladder) treatment.
